- My name is Melissa. I started this blog to allow my friends and family to know how and what I was doing after the loss of my daughter. Her name is Alexandra and she was stillborn on April 29, 2010. I was just over 37 weeks pregnant when we found out she had passed away. I continue to write on this blog to keep Alexandra's memory alive and to share some insight into what this walk through grief is truly like.
